to Ozark Mountain Alpacas, LLC.
We are glad that you looked us up. We are
located in Fayetteville, Arkansas, which is nestled in the beautiful Ozark
Mountains of Northwest Arkansas.
Ozark Mountain Alpacas began the spring of 2005 but not before several
months of researching the alpaca business. Our research included reading
all the material we could find, attending seminars, attending alpaca
shows, and visiting several farms in different parts of the country.
Alpacas
came very natural to this 8th generation farm family. The move from cattle
and horses to alpacas was an easy transition. Along with the animal
background, we also bring in over 60 combined years of marketing,
accounting and private business experience. Our love for animals and our
business knowledge came together that spring day in 2005. We started our
farm with the commitment to breed and sell the highest quality alpacas.
With that in mind, we assembled our foundation herd. We chose top
bloodlines from across the country. We began our herd with 11 bred females
and 2 Color Champion herdsires. Since that time, we have grown to 40
alpacas. In the 2005-2006 show season, we hit the ground running winning a
Blue Ribbon at TXOLAN, a Blue Ribbon and Color Champion at MOPACA and a
second place at the 2006 AOBA Nationals. As a result of our breeding
program we are producing
Color Champion
andBlue Ribbon
offspring from our multi-color champion herdsires and our foundation
females.
We are one of the only
full time and full service alpaca breeders in our area. This allows us the
time to know and care for each alpaca on our farm. We offer much more than
fine quality animals. With our multi-color champion herd sires, we can
offer breeding services, as well as boarding, showing or brokering your
animals. You will be pleased with our alpacas and our service. Give us a
