"This male in first place is the complete package. He has overall
balance and presence, fine soft fleece with excellent brilliance. You
could see when he walked in the ring that he has a good attitude. He was
saying “Look at me.” He has a strong body capacity along with excellent
density and good definition through out his staple. He had great length
that followed along with the architecture of the staple."
Honus returned from
his first Fall show appearance with a first and Reserve Color
Championship! Once again he demonstrated what everyone is looking for in a
breeding male....density, fineness, consistency in crimp, good bone
density and strength, and the presence that calls attention to him. Even
being shown only three times prior to coming to our farm Honus Wagner
took the BLUE at all three shows and a
Reserve Color Championship. In his
final two shows before starting into our breeding program on our farm,
Honus took two additional BLUE
ribbons and a Color Championship
at the A-OK Blastoff and the Alpacas in the Ozarks Show. What a
great way to end your show career. Prior to coming to our farm in 2007
Honus was bred to only two females producing a fine, dense, and crimpy
brown male and female cria. Honus is now bred to several of our foundation
herd females all due in the spring of 2009. Consider Honus Wagner
to push those crias up to a higher level.

DOB: November 7,
2004
COLOR: True Black
ARI# 1209365
PEDIGREE: Peruvian/Chilean
DAM: Rosealee
SIRE: McGinnis
STUD FEE: $2,500
This rich colored True Black alpaca has some of
the most distinguished bloodlines that include Peruvian Hemingway,
Ppperuvian Augusto, Pperuvian Pluro and The Silversmith. In addition his
fleece has the combination of fineness, density, and crimp seldom found in
true blacks.
His correct
confirmation along with a long staple length and full leg coverage makes
him the total
package. He was not shown that much prior to us purchasing
him the spring of 2007 but look at what he did at those shows---three
BLUE ribbons and one
RESERVE COLOR CHAMPIONSHIP. At his
final two shows he took two more BLUE
ribbons and another RESERVE COLOR
CHAMPIONSHIP. His first cria hit the ground in June 2008 and it
was a Silver Gray Girl--Ozark
Mountain Tammy Wynette. Her fleece is showing the same characteristics as
Winston. Look for her in the show ring in the fall of 2008. Winston is
capable of passing on those characteristics needed to improve you crias.

Avalon's Peruvian
Tri-Star

DOB: October 13, 2003
COLOR: White
ARI# 849142
PEDIGREE: Peruvian
DAM: Avalon's Peruvian Celestial Dream
SIRE: AFA Royal Peruvian Aristocrat
STUD FEE: $2,500
Another winner from Accoyo/Allianza cross
female, Celeste, and 1/2 Accoyo Royal Fawn son, Aristocrat. Tri-Star is
the third in a line of color champions, and he carries on this proud
tradition. Tri-Star's bright white fiber has a pleasing soft hand
organized in crimpy bundles that cover him from topknot to toe. His typey,
conformationally correct frame completes the picture, making him a "Complete
Package".
At his first show, the
2004 GMF, Tri-Star won the blue even though he had just turned 6 months
old. And then, again, at the NIAE he took the
BLUE as the youngest in the white
yearling class. Judge Shannon McConnell states that his balance &
Proportion were excellent & that his fiber was extremely bright and
consistent in lock, bundles and fineness from front to back. Later, in
that same show, he took 2nd in the Bred and Owned Yearling class in a
competitive field of NIAE Color Champions! Once again, he was the youngest
in the class!
Tri-Star has earned 2 COLOR CHAMPIONSHIPS,
a RESERVE
COLOR CHAMPIONSHIP and 10 BLUE
ribbons. AT the MOPACA Invitational, Maggie Frieger selected Tri-Star from
a field of 60 quality white males to be the
Color Champion, citing his "elite fleece" as something we should
all be breeding to achieve.
His first male cria Ozark Mountain General Lee is True Black
and in his first three shows has won 3 BLUE
Ribbons and 2 Color Championships.
His 2007 and 2008 crias residing at our farm will be in the show ring the
fall of 2008 and range in colors from White, Beige, Light-Medium-Dark Fawn
and Light Brown. All carry that bright, dense, crimpy, long staple length,
and bundled fleece of their sire Tri-Star. Try this elite male to produce
his ribbon winning characteristics in your own crias.
Tri-Star stands stud at Ozark Mountain Alpacas
in Arkansas from December through May. Tri-Star is co-owned with Avalon
Farm Alpacas.

DOB:

COLOR: True Black
ARI# 846259
PEDIGREE: Peruvian
DAM: Jaxon's Peruvian Lace
SIRE: SA Peruvian Black Knight
STUD FEE: $2,500
We are very excited about the future with this outstanding young male.
Lance is a total package: great presence, handsome head, typey/strong
conformation, beautifully lustrous and crimpy black fiber! Take a look at
his impressive histogram! This ultra-fine fleece would be exceptional on a
white fleece, let alone a black one!
Lance makes
available genetics
from some of the
finest black and gray males in the US
today, including Peruvian Silverado and CPeruvian Jaxon.
Lance's crias are
winning in the ring. His True Black daughter Ozark Mountain Miss
Scarlet has 2 BLUE ribbons and
a RESERVE COLOR
CHAMPIONSHIP in her first three
shows. His crias have that same
bright, crimpy and fineness in their fiber. Look for Ozark Mountain
Miss Scarlet and new to the show ring Ozark Mountain Johnny Cash
this fall season.
His daughter Ozark Mountain Lillie Mae will be bred for the first time
this fall bringing her sires wonderful fleece characteristics to our next
generation of foundation females. Let Lance do the same for you. Lillie
Mae was not on our show string in 2007/2008 due to lack of trailer space.
Peruvian Black Lance stands stud at Ozark Mountain Alpacas in Arkansas
from December through May. Lance is co-owned with Avalon Farm Alpacas.

Judges say General Lee has it all. He catches their eye as he enters the
ring as if to say look at me. In his first 3 shows he won 3
BLUE ribbons and 2
COLOR CHAMPIONSHIPS in large classes. His first Color
Championship came at 11 months of age. This True Black Male has the
bloodlines of Pperuvian Caligula and Ppperuvian Royal Fawn. His sire
Avalon’s Peruvian Tri-Star is a 10 time BLUE
ribbon, 2 time COLOR CHAMPION and
a RESERVE COLOR CHAMPION. He is
following in his sires footsteps and is soon catching up at such a young
age. He has the fiber of a white—density, crimp, staple length, and
fineness. He also has that macho look at such a young age. At the shows
everyone wants to feel his fleece. You won’t be able to keep your hands
off him. Look for him in the ring again in the fall of 2008 and the spring
of 2009.

Since the spring shows and shearing now over and his fleece growing longer
in staple length we are surprise at how it has greatly improved. White
Lightning's fleece is coming in brighter with wonderful character. Its
very soft, dense, bundled, and crimpy. As you can see he has a beautiful
